BNR Client
  • The BNR Client Application will run in the System tray (background). On a Windows NT/Windows2000/XP machine.

  • ButterflyNetRender can be run as a Service.

  • A BNR Client can run up to 8 RenderNodes on a machine with an IDLE or NORMAL Thread Priority. You can use IDLE priority if this machine is being used. The number of RenderNodes is usually the same number of CPUs on this Client machine, but you can necessitate the machine to run more if you like. (Not recommended on Windows 98/ME Clients)

  • The BNR Client can Turn on/Turn off the RenderNodes based on a Time range - (ie for after hour rendering on animation workstations)
